I'm in my last semester of A-levels and frankly speaking, its been taking its toll on me. But, of course, i'm still going on the right wavelength thanks to my college friends and some minor reunions with some of the old 4C members.
College life is indeed very much different compared to high school life. The uptight rules on hair length and dress codes are relaxed but the hours we spend in college far outstrips the hours in school. Even more so if you're in my position.
Despite the hustle and bustle, not to mention to the stress and EHT (extra high tension - Physics students should get this), it is undeniable that college has been fun. The change in atmosphere, the different people that we get to encounter, the many new experiences that some of us have yet to face. College is fun. Period.
I've taken into listening to any kind of music, regardless of the language. Japanese, Tamil, Punjabi, Mandarin, Latin, Spanish, Italian and if it can be categorized as a language, instrumentals. I feel, unlike the rest of my family members, that as long as the rhythm, flow or beat is nice, then the music is good. Countless of times, i have faced the scrutinized look that my father gives me when i play a very good Punjabi song. Flexibility is required here, oji-san.
Somehow, i believe that everyone from 4C is doing well in their studies. I've glimpsed the 4C members in colleges, enjoying their courses, making new friends and coping with stress. Though, i believe, some are in their universities now (my course is 1.5 years and it ends in June this year). Hopefully, everyone in 4C is on the right track.
As i close yet another post, i thought to myself. Life isn't as bad as it seems. Sure, it has its ups and downs but at the end of the day, it will be find. Keep in touch, y'all.
